The Washer Dryer Combo Machine And Its Advantages

Stackable washing machine and dryer units usually have the washer on the bottom and a dryer at the top. It necessitates users to physically move clothes from the washing machine to the dryer between the washing cycles. An all-in-one unit is a lot smaller, doing both laundering and drying out cycles within the same machine.

These combination appliances are great for areas where space is a premium. As both the washer and dryer are located within the single machine they require much less room than two machines sat side by side or stacked on top of each other.

A combination machine is supplied either as a vented or ventless model. A vent requires means by which to connect an exhaust outflow from the dryer to an outside wall. Many kitchens and some bathrooms already have vents through which to connect one.

Ventless condensing machines dry from within the drum itself and so the water that's pulled out from the clothes run out through the drum and out of the appliance via a pump into a collection tray which can be removed and emptied. The drying cycle takes a longer time than conventional drying machine with a vented appliance.

Clothes are usually loaded into the top of the machine which is covered by a locking hinged door. During the wash stage, the tub which is outermost is filled with water which suspends the garments freely within the tub. The agitation draws the clothes towards the centre of the machine where there are paddles which further agitates the clothes.

Clothes may be taken out of the machine after the wash cycle and hung up to dry in the fresh air. If you still prefer to dry any of the garments, you just set the dryer component and begin the cycle midway along the spin cycle.

Dryers can be cheap or expensive, largely dependent on the size of an appliance and whether you need a compact or full size machine. Items of clothing do not need to be washed in one machine and then transferred to another.

These appliances are very popular in commercial launderettes as the combo machine takes up the space of two machines which allows more machines to be installed in the business. It does take longer, anywhere from one to four hours to extract clean dry clothes. Using two separate machines does make the whole process quicker though.

An good alternative to a freestanding combo or dryer appliance is the good old drying out rack which may be really good and cost-efficient especially if you have access to a garden to put it in. Clothes dryer stands can be relatively easy to build as well. You can be quite imaginative and add many levels to the rack if you wish.

Clothes drying out cabinets are quite a new addition to the laundry room. As the name suggests, they allow you to air dry clothes, especially those particular clothes that cannot go within the dryer, in a lot less time than with conventional air drying. Clothes drying out racks are made of a few poles about which you can hang up your garments. These stands can be folded up when not in use and are movable, so you are able to carry them about even whilst traveling.
