Get A Blender Now

I don't know what I would do without my blender. To start our day healthy and full of stamina, a glass of fruit smoothie with tofu mix is what we drink. I typically add chlorophyll or spirulina powder mixed with astralagus root powder in the mix for immune system enhancement. Almond milk, yogurt, rice milk and coconut milk are other alternatives you can put in your smoothie if soy doesn't suit your taste. Coconut milk is really tasty in a pineapple smoothie. Occasionally, I even add a tablespoon of almond or peanut butter to the mixture. This healthy smoothie alone, can pack up a lot of energy for our body making us on the go for hours. We also like yogurt strawberry smoothies. You can make various smoothies preparation of your liking. Investigate your nutritional needs and add ingredients that fit your lifestyle, diet and taste. You can make smoothies to enhance your immune system, build health, increase energy and stamina for workouts, boost your mental ability, or as an afternoon pick-me-up treat. The original blender that was used to create malts and milk shakes at soda fountains in 1922 is worthy of notice. This amazing innovation is credited to its brilliant founder, Stephen J. Poplawski. The Waring Blender was initially identified as the Miracle Mixer. After its launch in 1937, retailed at $29.75 each, over a million units were sold in the span of seventeen years.

Roughly all kitchens have blenders or has had one. Liquids are produced as a result of the blender's processes - chopping, grinding and pureeing. Aside from smoothies, pancakes, bouillabaisse, frappes and frozen alcoholic drinks can also be created. Of course, this is all the fun part. It is the cleaning up part that not too many people enjoy.

There are some tips to keep your blender clean and in perfect working condition. Food substances can get stuck on the blades and down below the blender jar if it is not washed properly. Your smoothie ingredients can get contaminated as bacteria starts to cultivate inside the unclean jar.

Nearly all blenders can be dismantled. I understand that majority of us would just like to rinse out or wash the jar, but food substances get trapped on the blades and below the jar. Hence, there are product guides of the blender for you to follow - regular maintenance and proper storage. Always be careful when you handle the cutting blades, as they are very sharp. Use the sponge or dishcloth in warm water with soap. Clean all the tiny parts and rinse properly. Dishwashers are hard on blenders and can scratch them whether they are plastic or glass, so hand washing is recommended. You may also use a baking soda solution in the blender to remove any desiccated or encrusted substance. The proportion is one is to one.

I own two blenders. One blender is used to prepare meals, while the other is for my beauty regimen. I have a recipe for a skin cream. Its ingredients are aloe, vitamins A, E and C. A few drops of essential oil whether lavender, rosemary or geranium is added to my skin cream recipe. During winter and drought, I also add a little shea butter or olive oil. I add a drop of grapefruit seed extract in all my cream mixtures to preserve it. A skin care product from these concoction is nearly as pure a product you can get as all ingredients are of natural produce.

Therefore start your day with a nutritious drink or smoothie and finish it with a spa treatment from your organic skin cream mixture. You will observe the difference on the way you look and feel.
